Work Environment

This role offers a remote working environment that fosters autonomy while still providing robust support from a dedicated team of mental health professionals. You will engage with your colleagues through virtual platforms designed to facilitate communication, case discussions, and continuing education opportunities. Our detox center setting allows for a unique focus on individuals recovering from substance use disorders, thus addressing the holistic needs of our clients. The position entails standard office hours, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide virtual individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and update personalized treatment plans that align with their specific goals and challenges.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of each client’s progress, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance care coordination, sharing insights and strategies to improve client outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices and therapeutic approaches.
Patient Population / Client Focus

We serve a diverse group of clients from various backgrounds, ensuring that we provide culturally competent care that respects and understands individual experiences and contexts. As an LICSW at Calm Space Counseling Group, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their recovery journeys with empathy and expertise.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license to practice in Massachusetts.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience post-licensure, preferably in mental health or substance use counseling.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess client needs and develop effective treatment strategies tailored to diverse populations.
  • A strong dedication to ethical practices, with a commitment to ongoing education and personal development within the field.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with clients in a detox or recovery setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
