Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Kindered Soul Counseling Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Advocating for clients to access vital community resources, social services, and support systems that bolster their overall well-being.
• Providing immediate crisis intervention and support, ensuring client safety and stability during challenging times.
• Maintaining thorough and secure client records, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with applicable legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and holistic care.
• Equipping clients with coping strategies, effective communication techniques, and self-care practices to enhance their mental health management.
• Engaging in community outreach initiatives to expand referral networks and establish robust community partnerships.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will involve supporting clients across a spectrum of ages and backgrounds, each facing varying degrees of emotional and behavioral difficulties. Every day, you will work with individuals who may be confronting grief, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues, making your role pivotal in their journey toward healing and recovery.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) or a related field; a Master’s degree (MSW) is preferred.
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in clinical social work, preferably in outpatient mental health settings.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on effective communication and active listening.
• A commitment to maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality in therapeutic practices.
• The ability to operate effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Experience

While a background in outpatient mental health service delivery is preferred, we welcome candidates with diverse experiences who demonstrate passion and dedication to client care. Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your expertise and commitment, Kindered Soul Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
