Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments of new clients, identifying their unique psychological, social, and emotional needs to formulate detailed treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to assist clients in navigating challenges associated with detoxification and recovery.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with medical staff, therapists, and support personnel to ensure a holistic approach to client care, coordinating treatment strategies as necessary.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health concepts, recovery pathways, and available resources, fostering a supportive network for ongoing recovery.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying updated on current mental health research and emerging treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary clientele served at our Detox Center includes individuals who are in various stages of substance use disorders, often compounded by co-occurring mental health issues such as trauma, anxiety, and depression. As an LCSW, you will play a crucial role in empowering these clients, assisting them in managing their mental health while they undergo detoxification. Your work will support their recovery, paving the way for healthier lifestyles and community reintegration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Valid LCSW license in the state of New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health or substance use setting.
• Proficiency in solution-focused therapy interventions and trauma-informed care approaches.
• Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities necessary for effective client engagement.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative and dynamic team environment.

Preferred Experience

While minimum qualifications include 2 years of experience, candidates with experience in addiction recovery, group therapy facilitation, and implementation of interdisciplinary treatment plans will be given preference. Familiarity with telehealth tools and digital documentation systems would also be advantageous in enhancing service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range between USD 80,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
