Renewed Heartfelt Healing Therapy is seeking a full-time LCSW to provide vital mental health services within a remote school setting. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse population of students facing mental health challenges, thereby contributing to their emotional well-being and academic success.

Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote working environment, allowing you to balance your professional responsibilities while catering to the diverse needs of students across the school district. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to inform individualized treatment plans and gather insights into each student's mental health concerns, strengths, and available resources.
  • Provide individual therapy sessions, group therapy, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
  • Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and administrators to develop integrated treatment plans that support the academic and emotional needs of students.
  • Facilitate psychoeducation workshops targeting coping strategies, emotional regulation, and life skills for students and parents alike.
  • Offer crisis intervention services, including risk assessments and safety planning in critical situations, ensuring student safety and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, promoting best practices in clinical record-keeping.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss case progress, share insights, and strategize collaborative care approaches.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary clients served in this role are students within the school environment, ranging from elementary to high school age. These individuals may be experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, learning disorders, and the impacts of trauma. Your work will be essential in normalizing mental health discussions in schools, fostering resilience, and ultimately improving student outcomes. You will play a crucial role in facilitating access to mental health services for families who may otherwise face barriers to care.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, particularly with children and adolescents.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and effective treatment approaches relevant to youth mental health.
