The Health And Peace Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time remote position within our detox center located in Augusta, Georgia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that empower clients toward recovery.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, ensuring a supportive and therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Facilitate crisis intervention efforts as needed, responding swiftly to client emergencies and ensuring their safety.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and therapeutic interventions, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives by evaluating service delivery and suggesting improvements to enhance patient care.
• Regularly attend team meetings and participate in ongoing training to stay informed on best practices in mental health and substance use treatment.
• Provide on-call coverage during program hours and respond to client needs outside of regular hours as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will primarily work with clients who face significant challenges related to major mental illnesses and substance use disorders. In this role, you will provide care for individuals grappling with complex emotional and psychological issues, developing tailored intervention strategies to support their recovery. Your focus will be on delivering evidence-based practices that enhance resilience, self-advocacy, and a sense of empowerment among the clients.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.
• Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia is mandatory.
• Demonstrated expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for diverse populations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, allowing for effective engagement with clients and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect for diverse backgrounds.
• Proficient in managing crises and implementing immediate interventions tailored to client needs.
• Organizational skills that facilitate efficient case management and workflow processes.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a clinician working in mental health or substance use treatment settings.
• Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is preferred but not required, as it can enhance communication with a broader client base.
