Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Gotham Enterprises, you will undertake various essential responsibilities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient needs accurately, followed by developing detailed, individualized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Implementing a range of psychotherapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adjusting techniques to cater to each client’s unique situation.
• Maintaining meticulous treatment documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring patient confidentiality and care standards are consistently met.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to comprehensively address patient needs and synchronize treatment efforts.
• Engaging in regular peer collaboration sessions and case discussions to enhance clinical effectiveness and stay updated on best practices in mental health treatment.
• Providing education and community resources to patients and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health issues and available options for support.
• Staying informed on ongoing research and developments in the field of mental health to ensure that your practice reflects contemporary standards and innovations.
• Managing a full case load while consistently tracking treatment progress and adapting plans as necessary to achieve optimal patient outcomes, adhering to the ethical standards set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on supporting a diverse population of clients grappling with addiction, co-occurring mental health disorders, and recovery challenges at the detox center. You will interact with adult patients from various backgrounds, providing them with the support and psychoeducation necessary for their rehabilitation journey. Your role as an LCSW is critical to empowering these individuals to achieve their recovery goals and improve their overall mental wellness.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois.
• At least three years of clinical experience in a psychiatric setting, emphasizing the provision of psychotherapy services.
• Familiarity with solution-based therapeutic techniques and a passion for evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address complex patient issues in a clinical context.
• The ability to thrive in a remote team setting, ensuring accountability and commitment to patient care.

Preferred Experience

While not required, experience working with patients in detox or addiction recovery settings will be highly advantageous. Additional training or certifications in modality-specific therapies can give candidates an edge in this competitive role.
