Ignite Mental Health Services is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Remote Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our team on a full-time basis. This role offers the unique opportunity to provide therapeutic services from the comfort of your home, while playing a vital role in enhancing the mental health and well-being of individuals and families in our community.

Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, providing you with flexibility and the ability to create your own therapeutic space. Working Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you will utilize telehealth platforms to conduct sessions, ensuring that clients receive accessible and effective counseling services. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of client needs through virtual consultations, gathering information to guide personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique situations of your clients, addressing issues related to trauma, addiction, domestic violence, and mental health conditions.
  • Document client histories, treatment plans, ongoing assessments, and outcomes meticulously to maintain comprehensive clinical records, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Facilitate referrals to community resources and services, connecting families with vital support systems that enhance their treatment experience.
  • Engage in ongoing collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, educating colleagues about psychosocial stressors and strategies to better support clients, thereby improving overall client outcomes.
  • Participate actively in professional development activities, workshops, and training sessions to enhance your skills and stay current with best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing family crises, mental health challenges, and substance use disorders. Our focus is to provide compassionate care and effective interventions that respect and honor the unique backgrounds and circumstances of each client. Your expertise will contribute to fostering resilience and recovery in a population that includes both adults and children.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
  • Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in the state of Oregon is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing mental health counseling in a clinical setting, with specific attention to crisis management and trauma-informed care.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with families in crisis situations, particularly regarding domestic violence, child welfare, and community resource linking.
  • Knowledge of integrating telehealth practices effectively into therapy sessions for all client interactions.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems and documentation standards conducive to a remote working environment.
Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
