Work Environment

This position supports a remote working arrangement, enabling therapists to provide care from a comfortable and flexible setting. Therapists will have the opportunity to connect with clients via secure teletherapy platforms, conduct assessments, and facilitate therapy sessions all from the convenience of their homes. While the role is primarily remote, occasional in-office collaboration may occur to enhance team cohesion and communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and available support systems.
• Provide individual, couple, and family therapy sessions utilizing a range of evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, setting measurable objectives and therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's needs.
• Collaboratively work with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure holistic and coordinated care for clients.
• Lead group therapy sessions and psychoeducational classes focusing on promoting mental wellness, coping strategies, and support networks.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments when necessary, ensuring client safety and appropriate referral to higher levels of care if needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills that facilitate effective client engagement.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
