Position Overview

Comfort Keepers Counseling Center is actively seeking an enthusiastic and highly qualified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a remote capacity. In this full-time role, the LCSW will be instrumental in providing quality mental health services to students within a school setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in assessment, treatment planning, and the implementation of evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of children and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments of students to identify mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Implementing evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques tailored for children and adolescents.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and adjustments based on ongoing assessments.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of counselors, psychologists, and educators to discuss student progress in team meetings and training sessions.
• Providing crisis intervention and support, creating a safe emotional space for students experiencing immediate mental health challenges.
• Engaging in regular communications with parents and guardians to facilitate the student’s healing process and promote mental health awareness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is the school community, which includes a diverse population of students facing various mental health challenges. This can include issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral problems, and learning difficulties. The LCSW will utilize culturally competent practices to ensure that all students receive the highest quality of care, addressing their unique backgrounds while fostering an inclusive environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• Current and active license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Strong critical thinking and clinical skills, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and other professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge and experience with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling practices.

Preferred Experience

While not required, the following experiences would be advantageous:

• Previous experience working in a school setting or with children and adolescents.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.
• Experience in providing crisis intervention and support for students.
• Training or certification in evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT).

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education. In addition to a rewarding salary, we provide a robust benefits package, which includes:
