In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct individualized mental health counseling sessions via secure video chat, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards.
• Utilize evidence-based, solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to the specific needs and preferences of your clients.
• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans, monitor clients’ progress, and make necessary adjustments to optimize their mental health journey.
• Inspire clients to gain insights into themselves by exploring their experiences, feelings, and interpersonal relationships.
• Assist clients in developing and adopting effective coping mechanisms and strategies to navigate daily life challenges and improve their overall quality of life.

The primary focus of our counseling services is on stable, low-acuity adults who present a variety of mental health concerns. By serving this population, you will help clients struggling with issues ranging from anxiety and depression to stress management and relationship difficulties. Your role is crucial in fostering a supportive environment that empowers clients to achieve their personal goals and enhance their emotional well-being.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• One of the following fully licensed credentials allowing for independent practice: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• No disciplinary actions or limitations on your license; full compliance with state regulations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Strong computer literacy to effectively navigate our telehealth platform and maintain accurate client records.

While we welcome therapists from diverse backgrounds, preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in remote counseling and familiarity with telehealth settings. Experience working with adult populations, specifically in outpatient care, is a plus.
