Role Overview
Transparent Energy is seeking a hands-on Digital Marketing & Demand Generation Manager to own the execution, optimization, and reporting of our digital marketing programs.
This role will build and manage campaigns that generate qualified leads, improve conversion rates, and create measurable pipeline impact. The right candidate will be technical, execution-oriented, and comfortable owning HubSpot, marketing automation, SEO/SEM, paid search, programmatic/display advertising, landing pages, attribution, reporting, and conversion tracking.
This person must also bring creative energy to the role by contributing campaign ideas, messaging angles, audience strategies, content concepts, and practical ways to turn Transparent Energy’s expertise into lead-generating digital programs.
This role is separate from field/event marketing, but will work closely with that team to support event follow-up, nurture campaigns, tracking, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Own marketing's contribution to qualified pipeline by setting campaign goals, measuring results, and continuously improving marketing-generated revenue performance.
Digital Campaign Strategy & Execution
  • Build, launch, manage, and optimize integrated demand generation campaigns across paid search, SEO/SEM, display/programmatic, email, landing pages, retargeting, and nurture programs.
  • Translate business priorities, target verticals, sales initiatives, and thought leadership into measurable marketing campaigns.
  • Develop campaign strategy, audience segmentation, messaging, offers, CTAs, forms, landing pages, and follow-up sequences.
  • Continuously test and optimize creative, messaging, keywords, targeting, landing pages, and conversion paths to improve campaign performance.
HubSpot & Marketing Automation
  • Own HubSpot marketing execution, including workflows, forms, lists, landing pages, lead routing, lifecycle management, campaign attribution, and lead source tracking.
  • Build automated nurture programs based on lead source, audience, engagement behavior, events, and sales follow-up needs.
  • Ensure leads are accurately captured, segmented, routed, tracked, and reported while maintaining high-quality CRM data in partnership with Sales and Revenue Operations.
Performance Analytics & Optimization
  • Build dashboards and reporting that measure campaign performance, pipeline contribution, conversion rates, ROI, and other key marketing metrics.
  • Establish consistent attribution across campaigns, channels, keywords, ads, and events.
  • Use performance data to identify opportunities, optimize campaigns, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
SEO, Paid Media & Vendor Management
  • Manage SEO, SEM, paid search, and programmatic advertising, including keyword strategy, audience targeting, conversion tracking, budget optimization, and performance reporting.
  • Oversee Google Ads, Google Analytics, Search Console, and related marketing platforms.
  • Manage agency and vendor performance to ensure accountability, transparency, and measurable business results.
Conversion Optimization & Content
  • Build and optimize landing pages, forms, CTAs, gated content, and conversion journeys that maximize lead generation.
  • Contribute campaign messaging, copy, and creative direction for digital ads, email, social media, and landing pages.
  • Translate Transparent Energy's market expertise, customer success stories, and thought leadership into compelling demand-generation assets.
AI-Enabled Marketing
  • Leverage AI tools to improve campaign planning, audience research, content creation, workflow automation, reporting, and personalization.
  • Apply AI responsibly while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, brand consistency, and quality standards.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness through emerging AI capabilities.
Sales & Field Marketing Collaboration
  • Partner with Sales and Field Marketing to support events, webinars, partner initiatives, and targeted account campaigns.
  • Ensure event and campaign leads are properly nurtured, routed, tracked, and converted into qualified sales opportunities.
  • Align marketing execution with sales priorities, target accounts, and pipeline objectives.

  • Transparent Energy has clear visibility into lead sources, campaign performance, and marketing’s contribution to pipeline.
  • HubSpot is clean, organized, and consistently used for campaign tracking, lead routing, nurture programs, and reporting.
  • Digital campaigns are launched, tracked, optimized, and reported on consistently.
  • Paid search, SEO, programmatic/display, email, and event follow-up campaigns are actively managed and improved.
  • Leadership receives useful reporting that supports better marketing investment decisions.
  • The marketing function becomes more proactive, creative, data-driven, execution-focused, and accountable.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, demand generation, marketing operations, or growth marketing.
  • Strong hands-on HubSpot experience, including workflows, forms, lists, landing pages, lead routing, campaign tracking, and reporting.
  • Excellent communicating with both words and data
  • Strong project management, prioritization, follow-through, accountability, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong execution discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve execution, content development, campaign planning, and reporting.
  • Creative campaign instincts, with the ability to bring ideas, test them, and turn them into measurable campaigns.
  • A desire to exceed goals that is internal, constant, and self-imposed

Preferred Qualifications
  • HubSpot certifications strongly preferred.
  • Experience in B2B marketing, professional services, energy, procurement, sustainability, financial services, commercial real estate, manufacturing, private equity, or other complex B2B sales environments.
