This full-time remote position offers a unique opportunity for a skilled professional with a minimum of three years of post-licensure experience to make a significant impact in the mental health field, focusing specifically on adult populations.

About the Organization

Health Access Medical Center is committed to improving the quality of life for our clients by delivering high-quality care that is ethical, comprehensive, and compassionate. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive environment for our providers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and administrative support to focus solely on client care. Our hospice center is situated in Sparks, Nevada, and serves a broad demographic, allowing our team to engage with diverse client needs and backgrounds.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position, giving you the flexibility to manage your schedule while maintaining a work-life balance. We offer a collaborative work environment, where you can consult with colleagues and share insights, all from the comfort of your own space. The role requires you to manage a caseload of a minimum of 25 clients, ensuring personalized care for each individual you assist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions through virtual platforms, catering to a diverse clientele.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic strategies tailored to each clientโ€™s needs and circumstances.
  • Utilize methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy to achieve positive therapeutic outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate client records and progress notes using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with other professionals within the organization to ensure comprehensive care is delivered to clients.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay updated with the latest clinical practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be primarily working with adults (aged 18+) seeking mental health support. Many clients may be dealing with chronic illnesses, grief, or mental health disorders. You will have the opportunity to contribute positively to the mental well-being of clients from diverse backgrounds, including the LGBTQIA+ community and other minority populations.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • A valid and active LCSW license issued by the State of Nevada.
  • Three years of post-licensure clinical counseling experience, preferably in a remote setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in effective therapeutic models, specifically CBT and/or Psychodynamic Therapy.
  • Possession of professional malpractice insurance, ensuring protection in clinical practice.
  • Previous experience providing psychotherapy to adult clients and working with diverse populations.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community, although this is considered a bonus rather than a requirement.
  • Exposure to menโ€™s mental health issues is preferred, helping to address the unique challenges this demographic may face.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our compensation package includes:

  • Flexible scheduling for work-life balance.
  • Administrative assistance, enabling you to focus on client care without the burden of billing and insurance tasks.
  • Comprehensive health insurance coverage.
  • Life insurance to provide peace of mind for you and your family.
  • Professional malpractice insurance.
  • A wellness plan to support your personal health and well-being.
  • A sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
