• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to create and implement personalized treatment plans based on each client’s unique needs.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to promote mental wellness and recovery.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health resources, community support services, and coping strategies to empower them in their treatment journey.
• Conduct regular assessments to track client progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document all interactions thoroughly in our electronic health record system.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying current with mental health trends, advocating for best practices, and participating in supervision or peer consultation.

In this role, you will primarily work with adults and elderly clients experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. An understanding of the unique challenges faced by the aging population will enhance your effectiveness in providing tailored care. You will also engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, requiring cultural competency and sensitivity in your interactions.

• A valid and active LCSW license issued by the state of Nevada.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Social Work; however, a master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth tools and electronic health records for client documentation and therapy sessions.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a clinical social worker, preferably in a community health setting.
• Experience working with older adults and an understanding of geriatric mental health issues will be considered a significant asset.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and lead psychoeducational workshops for clients and their families.
