Position Overview

Valley of Lily Psychotherapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time, remote role focused on supporting school-aged clients. Work Environment

This remote role allows you to work from the comfort of your home while actively engaging with students, teachers, and parents through teletherapy and virtual consultations. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy to students dealing with symptoms of major mental health issues or severe emotional disorders, adapting therapeutic approaches to meet their developmental needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health conditions, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to each student's circumstances.
  • Collaborate with educational staff and parents to discuss student progress, offer resources, and implement strategies supporting mental health within the school setting.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and treatment progress, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational policies.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss client cases, share insights, and align on collaborative care strategies that enhance team objectives and patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on children and adolescents experiencing emotional and psychological challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma-related issues. Our aim is to empower young individuals to understand their emotions and develop coping mechanisms, enabling them to thrive both academically and socially.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation is required to practice in the state of Oregon.
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic interventions, assessment, diagnosis, and crisis management typical in school settings.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, families, and school personnel.
  • Proficient organizational, planning, and time management skills to handle caseloads efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a therapeutic role, preferably working with children and adolescents.
  • Experience in school-based mental health services is advantageous, with a deep understanding of the educational environment and its challenges.
  • Knowledge of community resources and referral processes to support comprehensive client care.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience.
