Fort Bend Counseling Aid is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. In this role, you will work collaboratively with clients to facilitate healing and growth, utilizing your expertise in individual, couple, and family therapy. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide therapy services from the comfort of your chosen environment while maintaining an outpatient practice model. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations to assess mental health diagnoses and creating individualized treatment plans tailored to each clientโ€™s needs.

  • Maintaining a caseload of 25-30 clients per week, ensuring that each session provides valuable therapeutic support and progress towards treatment goals.

  • Documenting therapy sessions with precision, preparing case notes, treatment plan reviews, and ensuring compliance with company policy and ethical guidelines.

  • Delivering exceptional customer service to clients by providing timely and constructive feedback while fostering an environment of trust and openness.

  • Collaborating with case managers, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate services and optimize client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a wide-ranging patient population that includes children, adolescents, couples, and families. Your role is pivotal in addressing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, family conflict, and relationship issues. With a commitment to utilizing innovative and creative therapeutic interventions, you will help clients achieve their personal and relational goals.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Washington.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively document and discuss client care.

  • The ability to establish and maintain healthy boundaries with clients, ensuring a professional therapeutic relationship.

  • A passion for providing therapy to a diverse clientele, demonstrating cultural competency and respect for individual differences.

Preferred Experience

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with:

  • Experience in family therapy services and knowledge of community mental health resources.

  • An established background in completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and comprehensive clinical notes.

Compensation and Benefits
