• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status and readiness for treatment during the detox process.
• Provide evidence-based individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that align with your clients’ progress in detoxification and recovery, revisiting and revising plans as needed.
• Utilize telehealth tools for client engagement and facilitate regular check-ins to monitor emotional and mental well-being.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and addiction specialists, to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Maintain stringent confidentiality standards and uphold ethical practices as outlined by social work regulations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay informed of the latest trends and best practices in addiction recovery and mental health.
• Establish and nurture therapeutic relationships that foster trust and encourage client openness, guiding them through their detox process.

Your work will primarily involve individuals who are in the initial stages of recovery from substance use disorders. Many clients come in with a combination of co-occurring mental health issues and complex emotional backgrounds, necessitating a compassionate and informed approach to therapy. The goal is not only to help clients safely navigate their detox journey but also to lay the groundwork for their sustained recovery.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, ideally in settings that provide mental health support for individuals with substance use disorders.
• Proficient assessment and therapeutic skills, with the ability to develop treatment strategies that reflect clients’ diverse needs.
• Strong communication abilities that enable rapport building and effective therapeutic interactions.

• Experience working in remote or telehealth settings.
• Knowledge of addiction treatment methods and mental health practices.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
