• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and individual assessments to develop personalized therapy plans for clients.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions for different demographics, including families, couples, and individuals, addressing a variety of mental health concerns.
• Maintain and update accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of client information.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to enhance the continuity and quality of care for clients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to remain current with evolving mental health research and practices.

Your primary focus will be on individuals and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clientele often includes those who have limited access to conventional care, and you will play a critical role in providing much-needed support and guidance to help them navigate their emotional journeys.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical environment.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health counseling.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with a diverse client base.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare team environment.
• Comfortable with various digital tools, including Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and telehealth platforms.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples counseling, substance use disorders, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.
• Experience in community mental health settings or outpatient therapy may provide a valuable foundation for this role.

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
