The Resilient Roots Center is seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools and interviews.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that are aligned with clients' unique needs, goals, and preferences, regularly revising them based on client progress.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate clients’ mental health improvements.
• Provide psychoeducation and support for clients and their families regarding mood disorders, various treatment methodologies, and effective self-care strategies.
• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards of practice regarding confidentiality and record-keeping.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care approaches that cater to all aspects of a client’s health.
• Stay informed about the latest research and developments related to mood disorders to enhance therapeutic strategies and approaches.
• Engage in regular supervision, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to strengthen clinical skills and teamwork.
• Advocate for clients by addressing mental health stigma and working to meet their specific needs during challenging times.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Resilient Roots Center, you will primarily serve individuals experiencing a spectrum of mood disorders. Your clients may include adults managing depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, as well as diverse groups such as homeless individuals, refugees, and domestic violence survivors who require both psychological support and practical guidance.

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is essential.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated capacity for empathy, compassion, and an open, non-judgmental approach to clients’ experiences.
• Strong organizational skills and effective time management to balance clinical duties and administrative tasks.

• Prior experience in outpatient mental health settings working with diverse populations and mood disorders is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and digital record management systems is a plus.
• Experience in applying evidence-based treatment modalities effectively in a clinical setting.

• Annual salary between USD 70,000 and 90,000, dependent on qualifications and experience.
