  • Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
  • Strong proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to maintain client documentation and treatment plans.
  • Understanding of various underlying physical and emotional health conditions, along with experience in managing addiction disorders is highly advantageous.
Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with the best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
  • A thorough understanding of medications prescribed by medical professionals, particularly in relation to mental health treatment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills, fostering trust and rapport with clients.
