The role of a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Silver Lake is fully remote, allowing you flexibility while working in a fast-paced and collaborative virtual environment. • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, including comprehensive intake interviews and standardized assessment tools.
• Create individualized treatment plans by analyzing clients' specific needs, using evidence-based methodologies to establish attainable goals.
• Provide a range of therapy options, including individual, family, and group sessions, utilizing modalities such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques aligned with best practices.
• Regularly monitor client progress through check-ins, treatment reviews, and direct feedback sessions, making adjustments to treatment plans based on client feedback and outcomes.
• Offer timely crisis intervention for clients in acute distress, ensuring immediate support while utilizing de-escalation strategies and safety planning.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards as mandated by state and federal laws.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, clinical social workers, and case managers, to provide integrated and holistic care for clients.
• Stay informed of advancements in mental health treatment and participate in relevant training and development to enhance clinical competency.
• Engage in regular supervision sessions for clinical input and performance review, promoting continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Adhere to ethical standards and practices as established by applicable licensing boards, including maintaining current licensure.

As a therapist with Silver Lake, you will be working with a diverse client base comprising individuals facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clientele includes children, adolescents, adults, and families from various backgrounds, each with unique experiences. Your role will be crucial in guiding them through their journeys toward healing and self-discovery, promoting resilience, and enhancing coping strategies.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
• Active state licensure as a mental health therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW).
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment and diagnostic skills is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
• An empathetic and client-centered approach to therapy is a must.
• Ability to work independently while being an integral part of a collaborative team environment.
• Familiarity with laws and ethical guidelines governing mental health practices.

• A minimum of three years' experience in a mental health counseling role.
• Experience providing teletherapy or remote counseling services is a plus.
