• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health conditions through both virtual interviews and standardized evaluation tools.
• Collaborate with clients to develop tailored therapeutic plans that address their unique mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and other behavioral issues.
• Facilitate regular counseling sessions, both individually and in group formats, to assist clients in implementing coping strategies and achieving therapeutic goals.
• Provide referrals to other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists or support groups, when appropriate, to create a comprehensive support network.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on the latest advancements in mental health counseling, diagnostics, and treatment modalities.

The majority of our clients are individuals from diverse backgrounds seeking assistance for a wide array of mental health concerns, including but not limited to substance abuse, depression, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will have the opportunity to work closely with these individuals, fostering an environment of trust and support to promote healing and resilience.

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
• Minimum of four years of clinical experience providing mental health counseling services.
• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders, cultural competence in treatment, and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Strong ability to remain composed and effective in crisis situations, with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with a proven track record of establishing rapport with clients from varied cultural backgrounds.

• Experience working with groups, including designing and leading therapeutic support groups.
• Familiarity with managing electronic health records and utilizing technology to enhance client care.
• Participation in community outreach initiatives or programs aimed at promoting mental health awareness.
