Terrence Therapeutic Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our team in a rewarding full-time capacity. Located in beautiful Coronado, California, Terrence Therapeutic Services specializes in outpatient mental health care. This position allows for a remote work setting, combining the benefits of telehealth with the resources of an outpatient office. While the majority of your work will be conducted remotely, you will also have access to our outpatient office facilities when necessary for in-office tasks or meetings.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify clients' specific needs, risks, and goals, creating tailored treatment plans that support their individual journeys.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions aimed at providing community and understanding around specific mental health issues.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure a seamless continuum of care that meets patients' holistic health needs.
• Provide crisis intervention services to assist patients in managing acute episodes and emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Educate clients about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to enhance their self-efficacy and understanding.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with local laws and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.
• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities to refine skills and stay updated with the latest research.
• Adapt your therapeutic approach based on client feedback and progress, fostering an inclusive and responsive therapeutic environment.

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various age groups, cultural backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses. Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and substance use. Your ability to create a safe and welcoming space for all clients will be essential in fostering healing and growth.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment options, coupled with proven experience in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with colleagues.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and a solid foundation in relevant computer applications.
• Ability to adhere to ethical standards and practice within professional boundaries.

• Hands-on experience in delivering group therapy sessions.
• Knowledge and experience working with crisis intervention and emergency mental health responses.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques.
• Prior experience working with diverse populations and a commitment to culturally responsive care.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to an attractive base salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
