In this remote position, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team, comprising physicians, nurses, and case managers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care. • Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, substance use history, and specific therapeutic needs, using structured tools and personal interviews.
• Craft personalized treatment plans that integrate therapeutic strategies tailored to each individual, targeting both addiction and underlying mental health issues.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, guiding conversations and promoting engagement using evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• Maintain close collaboration with members of the treatment team to coordinate care and address any emerging client issues during the recovery journey.
• Educate and involve clients’ families in the treatment process, helping them to understand addiction and support their loved one’s recovery.
• Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards and maintain accurate client records per regulatory guidelines and organizational policies.

• Valid licensure as either LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in the state of California is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience or specialized training in addiction counseling and substance recovery practices.
• Familiarity with current evidence-based treatment modalities for substance abuse and mental health conditions.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport, build trust, and motivate clients toward recovery.
• Excellent communication skills suited for collaborative work and effective client interaction.

• Previous experience in outpatient settings managing diverse cases of mental health and substance use disorders.
• Knowledge of local resources and community support systems relevant to addiction treatment.
• Competence in using telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions, demonstrating adaptability and tech-savviness.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, depending on your experience and qualifications.
