Key Responsibilities

Psychiatric Evaluation & Medication Management

  • Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications

  • Monitor treatment progress and medication effectiveness

  • Order and interpret diagnostic testing as clinically indicated

Integrated Behavioral Healthcare

  • Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care

  • Support children, adolescents, and families through evidence-based psychiatric care

Patient Education & Wellness

Qualifications

Required

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution

  • Active Florida Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license

  • Valid DEA number

  • Valid Medicaid Provider Number

  • Experience using EHR and telehealth systems

Preferred

  • 2+ years of experience as a PMHNP

  • Experience working with children and adolescents
