The Softeon WMS Implementation Lead is responsible for the successful implementation, configuration, testing, training, and support of Softeon Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions for new and existing client sites.
  • This role serves as a functional and technical leader, ensuring projects are delivered consistently, on time, and aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
  • This is an opportunity to lead complex WMS implementations, work directly with customers to solve supply chain challenges, and drive operational excellence through technology-enabled solutions.
  • You will play a critical role in delivering successful projects while helping organizations optimize their warehouse operations and supply chain performance.
  • This role is Remote, with up to 50% travel in the US & Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
Solution Implementation & Delivery
  • Lead end-to-end WMS implementations, including system setup, configuration, testing, training, go-live, and post-production support.
  • Analyze customer requirements and business processes to design and deliver effective supply chain solutions.
  • Develop, document, and optimize workflows, operational procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), troubleshoot issues, and support successful solution adoption.
  • Provide ongoing technical and functional expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Leadership & Planning
  • Contribute to project planning, effort estimation, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Track project progress, labor utilization, and implementation activities against project plans.
  • Prepare and deliver project status updates to leadership, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Lead internal initiatives and mentor implementation team members to promote best practices and standardization.

Solution Design & Consulting
  • Recommend configuration strategies and solution designs that meet customer needs and maximize business value.
  • Partner with customers, business stakeholders, and product teams to evaluate requirements, identify opportunities, and develop scalable solutions.
  • Support software demonstrations, solution reviews, and implementation cost estimates.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Softeon WMS capabilities, implementation methodologies, and industry best practices.

Training & Customer Success
  • Deliver training to users, customers, and project teams at all organizational levels.
  • Ensure customers are prepared for deployment through effective communication, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
  • Build strong customer relationships and provide exceptional service throughout implementation and support engagements.

Required Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), supply chain operations, and logistics processes.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience implementing and supporting enterprise business systems, preferably WMS solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, logistics, and warehouse processes.
  • Experience leading software implementation projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
