Job Description:

OneOncology'sIT Operations team is the engine that keeps the infrastructure, identity, and management platform running for every OneOncology practice. IT Operations owns proactive monitoring, patching, backup, identity governance, network engineering, and Tier 3 escalation across the enterprise.

The Systems Engineer III is a principal engineer setting technical direction across the systems domain - server infrastructure, virtualization, backup, cloud, identity, and Citrix end-user computing (EUC). The role acts as architect of the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environment and final technical authority for complex systems operational decisions and long-horizon planning. The ideal candidate brings enterprise systems architecture skills, deepexpertiseacross multiple systems specialties, and strong executive-facing communication.

This is a full-time remote position. Candidateslocatedin the Nashville, TN areaareexpected to work in a hybrid capacity from our corporate headquarters.

Responsibilities:

  • Own long-horizon systems domain roadmap alongside the IT Architect.

  • Lead resolution of the most complex systems operational issues as the Tier 3 escalation point, including root cause analysis and permanent remediation.

  • Architect, engineer, andoptimizethe Citrix environment - Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD/DaaS), Citrix ADC (NetScaler), StoreFront/Workspace, and MCS/PVS provisioning - including image lifecycle management, session performance, and capacity planning.

  • Design and drive automation of systems provisioning, patching, and configuration using PowerShell and infrastructure-as-code approaches.

  • Define systems hardening, backup, and disaster recovery standards, including DR validation testing, in support of HIPAA and HITRUST requirements.

  • Represent OO IT in strategic vendor discussions for systems platforms and cloud services.

  • Establish and enforce systems standards across all managed practices.

  • Mentor the systems engineering bench across Administrators and Engineers.

  • AdviseIT leadership on long-termsystemstechnology direction and roadmap.

  • Partner with Projects on precedent-setting systems deliveries andstandardsevolution.

  • Coordinate closely with the Network Engineer III on integrated solutions spanning systems andnetwork.

  • Participate in on-call rotation.

  • Occasional travel to practice sites, if needed.

  • Additionalresponsibilities as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • 10 or more years of progressive systems engineering experience including MSP or multi-site healthcare scale.

  • Healthcare related experiencestronglypreferred.

  • Expert-level certificationsstronglypreferred (Citrix CCE-V or CCP-V, VCAP/VCDX, AZ-305, or Okta Certified Consultant).

  • Experience with the following is a plus: VMware/vSphere, Microsoft Azure, Okta, Veeam, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, and Citrix Analytics/Director for performance monitoring.

Essential Competencies:

  • Enterprise systems architecture skills acrosscompute, virtualization, backup, cloud, and identity.

  • Architect-level Citrixexpertise: CVAD/DaaS design and administration, Citrix ADC (NetScaler) including Gateway and load balancing, profile management (FSLogix/Citrix Profile Management), MCS/PVS image management, and advanced session performance troubleshooting.

  • Expert-level Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy engineering.

  • Advanced scripting and automation skills; PowerShellrequired, infrastructure-as-code experience a plus.

  • Working knowledge of HIPAA and HITRUST requirements as they apply to systems infrastructure.

  • Deepexpertiseacross multiple systems specialties with a principal specialty.
