The Role

 

This is a role for an execution-oriented Junior Brand Designer who thrives on asset production and loves the satisfaction of shipping great work. You'll report to the Director of Brand Marketing and be the engine behind a steady stream of on-brand creative across email, social, paid media, and more. This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys executing within a creative framework and takes pride in doing it well and doing it fast.

 

What You'll Work On

 

You'll work closely with marketing managers to create compelling visuals that are clear, engaging, and consistent. You'll help execute campaigns, develop brand assets across touchpoints, and support the evolution of our visual identity while building a strong foundation in design.

 

Design marketing assets across channels:

 

  • Email marketing: Build and maintain monthly templates, create one-off campaign layouts, and manage asset libraries for team-wide use
  • Social & paid media: Produce creative for Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest to support ongoing campaigns
  • Landing pages: Update and populate existing page templates for campaigns
  • Blog & content: Source and edit images, support the development of content components
  • Partnership materials: Assist with co-marketing and partner-facing creative
  • Integrated campaigns: Create one-off assets for integrated digital and OOH marketing campaigns

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Execute high-quality design deliverables across marketing initiatives with a focus on speed, consistency, and attention to detail
  • Work within Peerspace's brand standards, voice, and visual system to ensure cohesion across all touchpoints
  • Collaborate with marketing managers, other designers and internal stakeholders by incorporating feedback efficiently and communicating clearly about your work
  • Stay current on design trends, emerging tools, and best practices in branding, marketing, and digital design
  • Manage your own deadlines and workload in a fast-paced, fully remote environment
  • Maintain organized files and design assets for use across the marketing team

 

Qualifications

 

  • BFA degree in Design, Art or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a marketing, brand, or visual design role
  • A portfolio demonstrating clean, production-quality work across digital formats, especially email and social
  • Proficiency in Figma, with working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Curious about AI in design and tools such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Nano, Flux, Freepik Runway, Figma, etc., as well proactive interest experimenting with other emerging technologies
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, and color, particularly as applied to digital marketing formats
  • Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple requests and hit deadlines consistently
  • Bonus: Experience with email platforms such as Mailchimp or Klaviyo, or basic HTML/CSS for email
  • Bonus: Experience with video editing or basic animation

The annual salary range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000. The actual salary will vary depending on experience, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and market data.
