These factories deliver AI/ML Applications, Data Science Platforms, Blockchain and Microservices for DoD, Healthcare and Civilian Agencies.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Salesforce QA/Test Engineer with strong platform-specific expertise and a solid understanding of DoD security compliance requirements. This role focuses on validating secure, scalable Salesforce solutions through comprehensive testing strategies, supporting ATO readiness, and ensuring alignment with federal standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute functional, integration, and security-focused test strategies for Salesforce implementations.
  • Develop and maintain detailed acceptance test cases aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Validate CI/CD processes, including Flosum pipeline gates, to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Perform baseline security health checks and document findings to support ATO artifact development.
  • Conduct testing across Apex, Salesforce Flows, permission sets, profiles, and rules engines.
  • Execute integration testing for REST/API-based services and external system interactions.
  • Validate Salesforce Shield configurations, encryption mechanisms, and data protection controls.
  • Perform offline/mobile testing and ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards.
  • Identify, track, and manage defects, particularly those related to security and compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to ensure test coverage aligns with system design and security requirements.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce platform testing, including Apex and LWC/UI automation.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, including roles, profiles, and permission sets.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, specifically Flosum, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of DoD security compliance frameworks and their application in testing (e.g., ATO processes, security validation).
  • Experience with integration testing, including REST APIs and middleware interactions.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (Section 508) and security health check processes.
  • Salesforce certifications:
    • Salesforce Platform Developer I
    • Salesforce Administrator
    • Salesforce Platform App Builder (or equivalent)
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
