Job description

Position Overview

Join our dedicated team at Driscoll Psychological and Counseling Center as a Licensed Mental Health Professional, specializing in outpatient care. This full-time remote position offers the flexibility to create your own schedule while making a significant impact on the mental well-being of our diverse clientele. We are seeking compassionate, skilled therapists licensed as LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW, who are committed to providing trauma-informed, culturally sensitive therapeutic support.

About the Organization

Driscoll Psychological and Counseling Center is committed to offering comprehensive mental health services that empower individuals to overcome various life challenges. Our clinic is rooted in trauma-informed care, ensuring that each client feels heard and respected as they navigate their mental health journey. We pride ourselves on utilizing evidence-based practices to meet the unique needs of every patient, creating a safe and welcoming environment for healing and growth.

Work Environment

This position allows you to work remotely while maintaining strong connections with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals. You will conduct sessions from the comfort of your home, using secure telehealth platforms, ensuring that clients receive uninterrupted, high-quality care. Our team values collaboration and continuous communication, fostering an engaging virtual office atmosphere that supports professional growth and team building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and diagnostic interviews, to determine clients' mental health status and needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, taking into account their specific goals, cultural backgrounds, and personal experiences.
  • Provide evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT, and solution-focused brief therapy, in various formats—individual, couples, family, and group settings—to address a wide range of mental health issues.
  • Offer crisis intervention services as needed, coordinating with healthcare professionals and emergency services to ensure the immediate safety and well-being of patients.
  • Maintain up-to-date client records, including progress notes and treatment summaries, adhering to clinic policies and state regulations to ensure compliant and effective care delivery.
  • Empower clients through psychoeducation, providing them and their families with strategies and resources to effectively manage mental health conditions.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies, promoting comprehensive care for every client.
  • Regularly perform outcome assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary for optimal results.
  • Stay current with developments in mental health care by engaging with ongoing training, research, and professional development opportunities to refine your clinical skills.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and trust in every client interaction.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a varied population, including individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. Your expertise will be vital in providing culturally competent counseling that respects and acknowledges the unique backgrounds of each patient. By fostering an inclusive therapeutic environment, you will help clients feel valued and understood, contributing to more effective treatment outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with a variety of professionals in a multi-disciplinary setting.
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills, with a strong capacity to build rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of post-graduate clinical experience in mental health counseling.
  • Proficiency in providing therapeutic services via telehealth platforms.
  • Experience working with culturally diverse populations and a strong understanding of the complexities of trauma-informed care.
Compensation and Benefits
  • The annual salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $84,000, commensurate with experience, education, and skills.
  • Additional benefits include a 401(k) plan, health and dental insurance, vision coverage, and paid time off to support your work-life balance.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Driscoll Psychological and Counseling Center, we believe in the continuous professional development of our staff. As a member of our team, you will have access to workshops, training programs, and potential pathways for advancement within the organization. We encourage our therapists to pursue certifications and specialized training that align with their professional goals and interests.
