South Shore Medical Center is searching for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our innovative team in a fully remote and full-time capacity. This role involves providing critical virtual therapy services to clients at our hospice center, helping to enhance their well-being and support their mental health needs during challenging times. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for:

• Conducting virtual therapy sessions with a diverse client population, using evidence-based practices to assess and address mental health issues.
• Maintaining detailed client records in our EHR system, ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
• Utilizing therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy tailored to individual client needs.
• Collaborating closely with other healthcare providers to deliver holistic care and making referrals as appropriate for additional services.
• Actively participating in continuous education and training to remain current with best practices in mental health care and social work.

Your work will primarily focus on individuals aged 18 and older, particularly those facing serious illness and end-of-life issues at the hospice center. You will have the unique opportunity to support clients through grief, anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders as they navigate their healthcare journeys. • A Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.
• An active state LCSW license to practice is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical counseling experience is preferred, with specific expertise in CBT or Psychodynamic Therapy.
• Experience providing psychotherapy to adults and a strong understanding of unique community needs, including those of the LGBTQIA+ community and men's mental health.
• A commitment to maintaining professional malpractice insurance.

While not required, the ideal candidate will have:

• Demonstrated experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community and knowledge of their specific mental health challenges.
• A background in men’s mental health issues and treatment approaches.
• Proficiency in managing a caseload efficiently in a virtual therapy setting, ensuring consistent follow-up and care coordination.
