This position will be based at our Seattle Headquarters and report to the vice president of enterprise marketing & communications. The role will operate under our hybrid Flexible Work Policy, which requires employees to be in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and allows for remote work on Monday and Friday.  

 
Primary Responsibilities 

  • Build and lead a high-performance marketing team focused on elevating our brand, driving business results and supporting long-term growth initiatives across the company.  

  • Work with your team to develop and implement successful marketing strategies that support commercialization and go-to-market priorities for all Weyerhaeuser businesses. 

  • Identify opportunities where marketing can most effectively influence the customer journey, and establish the right campaign approach to reach and activate priority audiences.  

  • Lead execution of marketing campaigns and core activities - from market research and branded storytelling to customer engagement through trade shows and digital campaigns - and ensure strong coordination across channels and teams.  

  • Establish key performance analytics, set targets and track progress toward goals. 

  • Oversee strategy and operation of Weyerhaeuser's website and social media platforms, including potential upgrades to system tools & resources. 

  • Collaborate closely with business leaders, sales professionals, product teams and other partners across the company to ensure alignment and consistency across all activities.

  • Lead the coordination of content calendars across the enterprise to align messaging and increase the impact of campaigns and initiatives.  

  • Demonstrated experience setting and executing marketing strategy, from planning and market research through campaign development, delivery, analytics and ROI measurement. 

  • Strong writing and editing skills, and an eye for effective copy, storytelling and design. 

  • High emotional intelligence and leadership acumen to build a cohesive and motivated marketing team.  

  • Deep proficiency with a variety of data-driven digital marketing methods, including AI marketing, SEM, email marketing, marketing automation, and social media marketing. 

  • Proven success leading cross-functional teams and complex, multi-channel marketing initiatives. 

  • Superior organizational and project management skills, including demonstrated experience managing timelines and resources for complex, multi-channel campaigns. 

  • Ability to build successful relationships at multiple levels of the organization - from sales teams to senior leaders - by listening, providing expert counsel and delivering results. 

  • At least 10 years of broad-based marketing experience (in a B2B or corporate environment preferred, but not required), including at least 3 years leading a team.  

  • Bachelor's degree (communications or marketing degree preferred) or equivalent experience.

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $144,790 to $217,185 based on your level of skills, qualifications, and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 25% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target. This position is also eligible for participating in our Long Term Incentive Plan.

Benefits: When you join our team, you and your dependents will be offered coverage under our comprehensive employee benefits plan, which includes medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, and life insurance.  We offer a pre-tax Health Savings Account option which includes a company contribution.  Other benefit options are also available such as voluntary Long-Term Care and Employee Assistance Programs. Retirement: Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our contribution equal to 5% of your eligible pay.

Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours.
