The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from your home while staying connected with clients and colleagues through advanced digital healthcare tools. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your duties will include:

• Conducting individual and couples therapy sessions to address a range of issues, including but not limited to family conflicts, grief, communication difficulties, and adjustment to life changes such as separation or divorce.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that align with each client’s specific needs, drawing on evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
• Facilitating group therapy sessions for families to promote open communication and healing.
• Monitoring client progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to create an integrated care approach.
• Utilizing telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Your work will empower a diverse range of clients, including:

• Couples and families facing issues related to alcohol and substance abuse.
• Individuals dealing with trauma, including physical or psychological abuse.
• Clients navigating grief and loss, as well as those undergoing significant life transitions.
• Children and adolescents requiring specialized support in navigating family dynamics.

Your expertise will be essential in fostering healthy pathways for entire families, ensuring that all voices are heard and respected within the therapeutic process.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) certification.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for patient-centered care.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in therapy.

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, the ideal candidate will have:

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and family systems therapy.
• Experience with telehealth delivery methods or eagerness to adapt to remote methodologies.
• A background in working with marginalized populations and a strong understanding of cultural competency in therapy.
