BJC Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our remote team in Baltimore, Maryland. This full-time position allows you to provide essential mental health services to individuals and families, fostering their emotional well-being and personal development. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop tailored therapeutic strategies for clients.
  • Provide individual, group, couples, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy.
  • Document clinical progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Participate in regular multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and share insights on patient treatment plans.
  • Engage in professional development through workshops and training to remain current with the latest advancements in mental health research and practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base includes individuals and families with limited access to mental health care who present a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. As an LCPC, your role will be crucial in reducing stigma and increasing access to mental health care, ultimately promoting healthier, more resilient communities.

Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is necessary.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating strong foundations in various therapeutic approaches.
  • In-depth understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
