Our team at Wisdo Health is seeking NBHWC-certified Health and Wellness Coaches to support adults participating in a virtual group coaching program designed to complement their weight management journey, including individuals using GLP-1 medications. Coaches lead weekly online group sessions that help members build sustainable habits around nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and long-term behavior change.
This is a remote position based in the United States Talkspace Headquarters is located in NYC.
What You'll Do
  • Provide health and wellness group coaching to members in a virtual group setting to promote positive lifestyle habits and behaviors
  • Support members to develop self-directed strategies for sustainable, healthy lifestyle behavior change
  • Utilize motivational interviewing, coaching theories, and coaching techniques to assist members in accomplishing their action steps and goals
  • Follow program guidance and policies
  • Ensure members are informed of what to expect when engaging in coaching
  • Work under the general supervision of a Coaching Program Manager (or designee), who establishes objectives and priorities

About You
  • Active board certification in Health and Wellness Coaching (e.g., NBHWC or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years of experience facilitating live virtual group coaching sessions for adults focused on sustainable weight management and behavior change
  • Strong knowledge of behavior change principles, motivational interviewing, and other evidence-based coaching approaches
  • Ability to work within a defined scope of practice and follow established escalation protocols
  • Reliable access to a private, confidential space for leading live virtual sessions
  • Strong written communication skills to support members through asynchronous, chat-based interactions

Compensation

The hourly rate for this role is $35/hr.
