The Marriage and Family Wellness Hub is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our innovative team, supporting school-based programs. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $104,000 per year, along with a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Our LCSW will work closely with students, families, and staff to promote mental health and facilitate access to support services.

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in work hours, with options for 4x10 or 5x8 shifts between 8 am and 7 pm, Monday through Friday. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, families, groups, and couples, addressing a range of mental health issues.
• Conducting thorough interviews with clients to collect and assess social, personal, environmental, and health information pertinent to their needs.
• Developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to the unique challenges faced by clients, and monitoring progress to facilitate effective outcomes.
• Coordinating programs and activities that promote social and emotional well-being, engaging clients in meaningful therapeutic practices.
• Facilitating cognitive, affective, and behavioral interventions, including crisis management and referrals to community resources for additional support.
• Maintaining accurate case documentation and client records to ensure compliance with organizational protocols and quality assurance.
• Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care, enhancing resource referrals and treatment strategies.
• Assessing treatment effectiveness and adjusting approaches as necessary to meet client goals.

Your role will directly impact a diverse population, including students of all ages and their families. This position focuses on addressing various behavioral and mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, substance use, grief, and family relations. By working within the school setting, you will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating mental health issues early, promoting a healthier and more resilient student body.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia.
• A minimum of 4 years of direct experience in social work or a related mental health field.

While the above qualifications are essential, preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

• Providing counseling services in educational settings or working with school-aged children.
• Addressing behavioral mental health concerns such as family dynamics, mood disorders, and substance use.
