• Advocate for the rights and emotional well-being of patients, ensuring ethical decision-making is at the forefront of your practice.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting mental wellness.
• Provide ongoing support and counseling for patients and family members, utilizing therapeutic techniques tailored to their unique situations.
• Utilize electronic medical records to document patient progress, monitor goal achievement, and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate actively in transition conferences to ensure smooth care transitions for patients.
• Identify clients at risk of readmission and coordinate preventative interventions through available technology and tools.
• Maintain a high standard of professional practice in accordance with legal requirements, including reporting any suspected abuse as mandated.
• Collaborate with community resources and social services to connect clients with necessary support systems that address both financial and social factors affecting mental health.
• Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility in a dynamic mental health environment.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who experience a range of conditions, from acute psychiatric crises to chronic mental health disorders. You will also engage with their families to provide comprehensive care that addresses not just the individual’s needs but those of the support system as well. Your work will be pivotal in fostering resilience and empowering clients to navigate their mental health journeys successfully.

• A master's or doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited program.
• An independent licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) valid in the state of residence.
• Strong communication skills, particularly via electronic methods, to ensure clear and effective interactions.
• The ability to manage a large caseload while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and liaising with support staff.
• A genuine passion for influencing the field of behavioral health and improving the lives of those affected by mental illnesses.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record systems for documentation and monitoring of patient care.

• Prior experience in a telehealth setting or with virtual counseling platforms.
• Hands-on knowledge of community resources and healthcare services that can enhance patient support.
• Demonstrated skills in advocating for patient rights and needs, particularly within diverse populations.
