Position Overview

Mountain Side Counseling & Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to enhance our team in Pflugerville, Texas. This full-time position is primarily remote, offering the flexibility to balance work and personal life while delivering vital mental health services to a diverse client population. The role is open to various scheduling options, including 4x10 or 5x8 shifts, allowing for a workweek that accommodates your lifestyle within our office hours of 8 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Mountain Side Counseling & Wellness Center, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups in both virtual and face-to-face contexts.
  • Conducting comprehensive interviews to gather pertinent social, personal, environmental, and health information about clients.
  • Assessing and addressing problems within your scope of practice, designing treatment plans that promote well-being.
  • Coordinating therapeutic programs and activities tailored to meet the unique social and emotional needs of clients.
  • Facilitating cases involving cognitive, emotional, and behavioral health challenges, including crisis intervention and referrals to necessary community resources.
  • Building and maintaining strong therapeutic relationships founded on mutual respect, trust, and acceptance.
  • Regularly evaluating the effectiveness of treatment services and modifying plans based on client needs and progress.
  • Documenting all findings and treatment histories in compliance with established protocols, ensuring that records are accurate and reflective of services provided.
  • Maintaining an organized caseload and keeping records current to enhance client care.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as required to support team objectives and client needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will work with a diverse client population, focusing on aging individuals and their families affected by serious illnesses. Common issues faced by clients include grief, loss, depression, anxiety, and substance dependency. Qualifications
