As an LCPC at Brightside Therapy Center, you will be responsible for:

• Facilitating engaging group therapy sessions that encourage mutual support and connection among clients.
• Delivering individualized therapy that focuses on clients’ personal histories and current struggles, enabling them to explore their thoughts and emotions in a safe environment.
• Collaborating with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that include specific, measurable goals aimed at addressing each individual’s unique needs.
• Monitoring client progress through systematic evaluations and assessment tools, utilizing feedback mechanisms to adjust treatment approaches as necessary.
• Participating as a key member of a multidisciplinary team, liaising with social workers, psychologists, and other professionals to offer coordinated care and discuss complex case scenarios.

Your primary focus will be on young adults facing mental health difficulties, including stress, anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. You will provide an empathetic ear, personalized guidance, and strategic interventions aimed at fostering resilience in this often-vulnerable demographic. By creating an inclusive and safe environment, you will empower your clients to unlock their potential.

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Current and valid License as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
• Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health disorders in either residential or outpatient settings.
• A collaborative spirit and a strong commitment to enhancing the lives of clients through respectful and compassionate counseling.
• Proficient in core therapeutic methodologies, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

Preferred candidates will have a strong background in providing therapeutic services specifically to young adults, including familiarity with best practices in mental health treatment. Experience in group facilitation and a keen understanding of community mental health resources will enhance your ability to connect clients with necessary support systems.
