Position Overview

The Center Light Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote position. This role focuses on providing critical support and guidance to clients grappling with various challenges, including addiction, mental health disorders, domestic violence, and child abuse. As an LCSW, you will play a vital role in fostering resiliency among your clients and helping them navigate their pathways to recovery.

About the Organization

Center Light Counseling Center is a dedicated health services provider located in Las Vegas, Nevada, specializing in comprehensive addiction treatment and mental health care. Our mission is to empower individuals and families affected by substance abuse and mental health issues by providing compassionate, evidence-based care. We emphasize a holistic approach that addresses not only the symptoms of addiction but also the underlying emotional and social factors that contribute to our clientsโ€™ struggles.

Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment while collaborating with skilled professionals at a detox center. Our supportive work culture fosters teamwork, continuous learning, and growth, enabling you to thrive in your clinical practice. By using telehealth platforms, you will maintain regular contact with clients, ensuring that geographical barriers do not impede the quality of care they receive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients via phone and video conferencing, developing comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support, ensuring clients feel safe and valued.
  • Facilitate access to essential services and activities that benefit clients and promote recovery.
  • Document and maintain accurate case records, including reports that track client progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Engage proactively with clients' families, offering support and resources to strengthen familial relationships.
  • Generate referrals to additional community services and agencies that can provide further assistance to clients.
  • Participate in regular supervision, training, and team meetings to continually enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and record signs of potential child abuse and report concerns in accordance with state regulations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals facing issues related to substance abuse and mental health concerns. This includes adults who may be experiencing the aftermath of trauma, addiction challenges, and familial difficulties. Understanding the sensitivities surrounding these issues is crucial, as many clients may be in vulnerable emotional states and require empathetic communication and support. You will work diligently to empower them to make positive life choices and navigate the complexities of recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.
  • Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada is mandatory.
  • Minimum of two years of direct clinical experience is preferred, ideally within addiction or mental health services.
  • Expert knowledge of assessment techniques, diagnosis criteria, and effective treatment methodologies for the target population.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are essential to interact with clients, collaborators, and referral sources effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in crisis management and risk assessment is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with telehealth technologies and documentation tools to facilitate remote client engagement.
  • Bilingual skills, particularly in English and Spanish, are preferred to better serve our diverse client base.
Compensation and Benefits

We are proud to offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise. As an added bonus, we offer a sign-on bonus to welcome you aboard. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, paid time off, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, flexible spending accounts, and employee discounts with various vendors.
