Work Environment

This position is fully remote, offering flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Utilizing technology, you will connect with clients through telehealth platforms, ensuring they receive continued support in their own environments. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status, diagnosing various mental health disorders effectively.
• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs, circumstances, and goals.
• Meet regularly with clients to provide personalized counseling, adjust treatment plans, and offer support on their healing journey.
• Conduct ongoing evaluations of patient progress to ensure therapeutic goals are being met, modifying treatments as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, referring clients to additional specialists when specialized care is needed.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches to enhance therapy effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Refresh Mental Healthcare Center, you will work with a diverse population of clients facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Your focus will be on helping these individuals and families navigate their mental health concerns, enhancing their coping skills and overall quality of life. By providing a safe space for open dialogue, you will encourage clients to unpack their emotional burdens and develop healthier communication and relationship patterns.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Currently possess or be willing to pursue specialized training in addiction counseling and co-occurring disorders.
• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing evidence-based practices and a commitment to professional development.
• Exceptional therapeutic skills with the ability to inspire and motivate clients toward healthier lifestyles.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a mental health setting, working specifically with individuals and families.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and experience providing remote counseling is highly desirable.
• Training in working with culturally diverse populations and any certifications related to trauma-informed care will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
