Position Description & Requirements
Access Radiology, a Radiology Partners practice is looking for a Remote General Radiologist to work Weekend Swing Shifts on a Part Time or 1099 Independent Contractor Radiology status. This position will interpret general diagnostic radiology for adults and pediatric. Candidate must be residency-trained in Diagnostic Radiology and share a vision for an integrative and collaborative care model with a multi-disciplinary team
Position Summary
  • 100% Remote - Weekend Shifts
  • Interpret General Emergency (Stroke/Trauma, STAT ER, Urgent care, and Inpatient)
  • Must be willing to read Adult and Pediatric studies
  • Weekend Swing Shift 12p-8p or 4p - 8p CST
  • Competitive Productivity Based Compensation
  • Excellent hours for those on Pacific Standard time - get swing pay and day hours!
  • Full Workstation provided
  • Minimum of 4 wknd shifts/month (2 full wknds, or 4 Sat or Sun)

Access Radiology has been an integral part of the Central Louisiana medical community for over 45 years. Alexandria is a city in the parish seat of Rapides Parish. It is the principle city of the Alexandria metropolitan area (population 153,922) which encompasses all of Rapides and Grant parishes. It lies on the south bank of the Red River in almost the exact geographic center of the state. Residents can easily drive to New Orleans or Baton Rouge while living in a picturesque, family-oriented community.
This opportunity will primarily read for Rapides Regional Medical Center, a 380 bed tertiary care hospital and one of Central Louisiana's leading healthcare providers. As a Level II Traum Center and designated Primary Stroke Center, the hospital offers a diverse and clinically engaging case mix, including emergency, trauma, neuro, oncology, cardiovascular and advanced imaging services.
