Senior Tax Consultant

To support the team members and clients at Duckett Ladd through technical excellence, strategic thinking, and exceptional client service. To personally grow by increasing knowledge of advanced tax strategies and advisory solutions that create meaningful impact for clients. Crucial in helping clients navigate complex tax matters while upholding the firm’s standard of excellence.

 

 Provide strategic tax advisory services for clients

· Serve as a point of contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of clients
· Review individual and business tax returns and tax projections
· Research and develop advanced tax planning strategies for clients
· Assist clients in understanding and implementing proactive tax-saving opportunities
· Communicate complex tax concepts in a clear, practical, and professional manner
· Collaborate internally with team members to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and consistency
· Assist on special projects and consulting engagements as needed


Deliver high-level client service and technical excellence

· Analyze client financial and tax data to identify planning opportunities and areas of concern
· Stay current on changing tax laws and proactively communicate implications to clients and team members
· Maintain organized electronic workpapers and documentation supporting all tax filings and recommendations
· Manage deadlines and workflow to ensure timely delivery of client projects
· Communicate with clients effectively and professionally via email, phone, and/or Zoom

QUALITIES AND REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO FILL THIS SEAT

· Requires CPA license
· Requires 5+ years of tax preparation and tax planning experience
· Strong knowledge of individual and business taxation
