BayCare Mental and Behavioral Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote detox team in Austin, Texas. In this full-time role, you will be instrumental in supporting patients' emotional, social, and practical needs as they navigate their rehabilitation journey. This position offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus.

• Conduct in-depth psychosocial assessments through interviews and clinical evaluations to identify the emotional, social, and environmental factors influencing each patient's recovery process.
• Provide tailored counseling services to patients and their families, focusing on adjustment issues, emotional resilience, and coping strategies essential for rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals—including physicians, nurses, and therapists—to develop individualized treatment plans that encompass the specific psychosocial needs of each patient.
• Assist patients in navigating community resources, including support groups, vocational rehabilitation programs, and housing options, ensuring they receive holistic care.
• Educate patients and families on available community resources and post-rehabilitation services, helping them to understand their next steps upon discharge.
• Participate in discharge planning, actively facilitating smooth transitions for patients from our care setting to home or other support facilities.

You will engage with patients recovering from detoxification, surgical interventions, trauma, or chronic illnesses, all seeking to regain their independence and quality of life. Your role will be critical in supporting their emotional well-being during a vulnerable time in their lives, fostering a sense of community reintegration and personal autonomy.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong understanding of the psychosocial aspects of rehabilitation, including adjustment, grief, and coping mechanisms.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with a diverse patient population and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Previous experience working in a rehabilitation or medical setting is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with treatment plans and healthcare-related documentation processes.
• Experience with community resources and support services tailored to patient recovery.
