• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate students' mental health status, strengths, and individual needs, formulating an appropriate treatment plan.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to students as appropriate.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and educators, to facilitate coordinated care and address any academic or behavioral challenges faced by students.
• Support students and their families in understanding diagnoses, discussing treatment options, and navigating prescribed medications.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing proven therapeutic modalities that engage students effectively.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans in partnership with students and the treatment team, emphasizing the goals and preferences of each student.
• Advocate for students within the complex mental health system, ensuring that their rights and specific needs are prioritized.
• Lead psychoeducation sessions and therapeutic groups, providing essential support during discharge planning and transitions.

The primary patient population for this role includes students who present with various mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and behavioral challenges. You will work closely with students from diverse backgrounds, recognizing the unique social, academic, and familial factors that contribute to their mental health needs.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, reflecting a strong foundation in clinical social work practices.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Proficient knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and crisis intervention strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team in an educational or clinical setting.

• Previous experience working in school settings or with youth populations is highly desirable.

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
