Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify and evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop appropriate care plans.
  • Create and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans aimed at helping clients achieve their therapeutic goals.
  • Provide individual, group, and couples therapy utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions tailored to varied client backgrounds.
  • Collaborate actively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, sharing insights and recommendations for client progress.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering strictly to legal and ethical guidelines for client information.
  • Engage in regular clinical supervision and participate in case conferences to ensure ongoing learning and development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client base, including adults and adolescents, addressing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction, and mood disorders. Your ability to build genuine rapport and trust will be key as you support clients through their emotional challenges, ultimately contributing to their healing and personal growth.

Qualifications
  • A valid LPC license in the state of Connecticut.
  • Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy in mental health settings.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques applicable to various mental health conditions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication and rapport building with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $50,000 and $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
