Work Environment

The role is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to provide care from your home while making a meaningful impact on clients' lives. While the core working hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, some evening or weekend work may be necessary to accommodate client schedules. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs effectively.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that align with the individualized goals of your clients.
• Provide counseling services to individuals, couples, and groups, using appropriate therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic client care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in adherence to legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Hopeful Journey LLC, your clients will come from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. You will work with individuals facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and substance use disorders. Your role will be pivotal in helping these individuals navigate their emotional landscapes, improve their mental health, and develop coping strategies.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
• A Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions within a mental health setting.
• Proficiency in using evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to client needs.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
• A commitment to ethical practices and maintaining client confidentiality.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specific therapeutic modalities such as EMDR, DBT, or family systems therapy.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for managing client documentation efficiently.
• A background in crisis intervention and management.

Compensation and Benefits
