mxdwn is an online music and entertainment magazine with news, reviews and features about the latest and best in modern entertainment.
Job Description
Are you an aspiring writer looking for an opportunity to work as an album reviewer for an established music website? If so, look no further, because mxdwn.com might be for you. Currently, we are looking for an album reviewer who would specialize in writing Indie Rock album reviews.
mxdwn is a daily music magazine dedicated to covering a diverse selection of musical content. Our album reviewers are assigned roughly five articles per month and will be expected to be consistent and adherent to deadlines. We are looking for enthusiastic people who are savvy about indie rock music and passionate about writing.
*Please note that this is an unpaid, remote, part time position. Living in Los Angeles is NOT a requirement or consideration. The job will be completed remotely.*
Qualifications
The most qualified candidates will be those who are passionate about music and passionate about writing. Also extremely important are punctuality, attention to detail and clear communication, especially regarding email. Writing skills are very important, but the candidate's starting skill level is not as important as the willingness to learn and improve over time.
