About The Role
Are you a versatile designer who can make anything look good, and knows how to make it convert? Join Chandler Bolt and selfpublishing.com to own the visual identity of our brand across every touchpoint, from YouTube thumbnails that get the click to the landing pages that get the sale. We're not looking for someone to maintain what we have, we're looking for someone to level it up.
Your focus is clear: Be the design engine behind our content, our funnels, and our brand, bringing a sharp visual and storytelling instincts.
Your Mission & Results
  • Content Graphics: Produce YouTube thumbnails and Instagram carousels that don't just fit the brand, but raise the bar on what our brand looks like.
  • Digital Design: Design and improve landing pages, blog post pages, and website elements that convert visitors into leads and customers.
  • Presentation Design: Build speaker slides and presentation decks for Chandler and the team that look sharp on stage and hold an audience's attention.
  • Storytelling & Copy: Bring strong visual storytelling and copywriting instincts to every asset, thumbnails and carousels should sell a moment, not just look nice.
  • Brand Consistency: Keep every graphic, page, and asset on-brand, polished, and aligned with our visual identity across channels.
  • Design Ops: Manage multiple design requests at once, prioritize based on impact, and turn drafts around quickly without sacrificing quality.
  • Goal: Elevate every touchpoint, from a thumbnail to a keynote slide, so our visuals actively build trust and drive action, not just check a box.

What You Bring
  • 4+ years of design experience, with real examples of thumbnails, carousels, and web or landing pages you've built and demonstrably improved.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and a web design tool (Webflow, Figma, or similar).
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling instincts, you know how to pair the right words with the right visual to stop a scroll.
  • An eye for what converts, not just what's pretty. You understand design as a growth lever.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines across video, social, and web without dropping quality.
  • Comfortable taking feedback fast and iterating without ego.

Compensation & Details
  • Location: Remote, must be available to work Central Standard Time (Austin, TX) hours.
  • Salary Range: $10.00 - $12.00/Hourly
