We’re looking to grow our Project Management Team at NLS!

Are you ready to kickstart your project management career and gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced leaders? As a Project Manager I, you won’t just support projects—you’ll actively help drive them forward. This is a great opportunity to learn, grow, and build your skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your contributions truly matter.

You’ll work closely with senior Project Managers and leadership, gaining exposure to real-world project delivery, stakeholder communication, and Agile practices. If you’re organized, proactive, and excited to grow in project management, this role is built for you.

What You’ll Do:
  • Support senior Project Managers in planning projects, including defining scope, timelines, staffing, risks, and contingencies

  • Assist with project setup and onboarding, including coordinating systems, tools, and communication channels

  • Help manage day-to-day project activities such as stand-ups, task tracking, and team communications

  • Facilitate daily stand-up meetings and share updates, blockers, and action items

  • Assist in organizing and leading project meetings focused on status updates, problem-solving, and team collaboration

  • Support issue resolution efforts and help drive tasks through to completion

  • Contribute to reporting on schedules, budgets, and project delivery for stakeholders

  • Maintain project documentation including status reports, meeting notes, and issue logs

  • Help identify creative solutions to challenges and support timely project delivery

  • Participate in sprint, milestone, and project reviews to drive continuous improvement

  • Assist in project closure activities, including system decommissioning and documentation wrap-up

  • Collaborate with other Project Managers and leadership as needed


What You’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Business, Computer Information Systems, Insurance & Risk Management, or a related field

  • Exposure to project management, software technology, or the insurance industry

  • Experience working on small projects or teams (5+ members preferred)

  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 tools

  • Ability to use collaboration tools, video conferencing, and standard business technology
