We also have an outpatient office in Valley Stream where team meetings and collaborative conferences occur occasionally. • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients accurately.
• Develop, implement, and manage evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the specific goals and objectives of each client.
• Facilitate individual, couples, and group therapy sessions utilizing therapeutic interventions appropriate to client needs.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care for clients, promoting effective communication and integrated treatment approaches.
• Maintain accurate and secure client records, ensuring adherence to ethical and legal guidelines regarding confidentiality.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision, case conferences, and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.

Your expertise will be essential for supporting a diverse client base facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, PTSD, addiction issues, and relationship difficulties. By forging strong therapeutic relationships, you will help clients navigate their emotional challenges and foster resilience and coping strategies.

• A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) within the state of New York.
• A Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience of at least two years providing individual and group therapy in mental health settings.
• Solid grasp of evidence-based therapeutic modalities suitable for treating diverse mental health conditions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Commitment to ethical standards and maintaining the confidentiality of client information.

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with additional experience in specialized therapeutic areas or previous supervisory roles will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and digital record-keeping systems will also enhance your application.

Mind Wealth Therapies offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we are excited to provide a sign-on bonus as an incentive to join our dedicated team.
