Job Summary

Info Security rep is responsible for supporting OneAmerica's Information Security program through application security, vulnerability management, security metrics, reporting, and operational security activities. This role helps protect enterprise information assets by identifying, assessing, reporting, and tracking security risks and vulnerabilities while supporting security governance and operational objectives.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Support application security initiatives across the enterprise.
  • Maintain and report application security and vulnerability management metrics.
  • Develop, maintain and distribute security dashboards and reporting for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Monitor security findings and coordinate remediation tracking activities.
  • Support security assessments, reviews, and risk identification efforts.
  • Collaborate with technology, engineering, and business teams to improve security posture.
  • Assist with security governance, compliance, and operational security activities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of security processes, tools, and reporting capabilities.

Job Requirements

Required Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Recommended Education and/or Certifications

  • Security+
  • CISSP (or progress toward certification)
  • GIAC certifications
  • Other security-related certifications

Required Work Experience

  • Information security, cybersecurity, application security, vulnerability management, risk management, or related technology experience.
  • Experience working with security tools, metrics, reporting, and security operations processes.
  • Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

Salary Grade: 4C

This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team building and collaboration.
